Lanta Gras
Kirkwood, Hosea L. Williams Dr. and Howard Ave.

Atlanta may be 500 miles from the bayou, but that’s no excuse to forego celebrating Mardi Gras. Kirkwood is hosting their very first Mardi Gras parade, complete with krewes, floats, beads, music, and hopefully a few hurricanes (the drink, not the disaster.) The parade starts at Hallman and Kirkwood, and ends at Hosea and Howard, pouring into a full-on street festival with bands and a true New Orleans-style party. Bons temps, y’all!

Throughout the years, election season has proven to be a hotbed of one thing: fodder for comedy. From SNL to the Daily Show, comedians have always been the first to point out the absurdity coming from both sides of the aisle. Which is why we just can’t wait to see what kind of sick burns the funny folks of Atlanta have to bestow upon a certain presidential hopeful. Yep, Poncey-Highland is getting hot this weekend.
