You already know that Dad’s Garage is settling in nicely in their new Old 4th Ward home, but did you know they’re back to doing two shows a night? Callanwolde Arts Festival
Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, 980 Briarcliff Rd.

The Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is an Atlanta institution- they offer classes for all ages in all sorts of artistic endeavors, and house performances, singers, dancers, painters, all in a gorgeous castle, to boot. We’re thrilled to take a gander at the famous arts festival this weekend featuring nearly a hundred painters, photographers, sculptors, metalworkers, glass artists, and jewelers. It’s a two-day festival, but of course Scoutmob has your V.I.P. admission, where you can get into the festival a day early.

Drive-By Broadway & Hip Hop Harold
Village Theatre, Downtown, 349 Decatur St.

The mirthmakers at Village Theatre are helping sing away our winter blues, and it’s coming just in time. This weekend is supposed to get pretty gross, weather-wise, so we’re heading to the theatre where we’ll be prepared with a title, and they’ll make up a 40-minute musical about it, right there, on the spot. And if you're more into sick rhymes, stick around for the Hip-Hop Harold, where they combine the powers of improv with, you guessed it, hip-hop.

Atlanta Cask Ale Tasting
5 Seasons Brewing, Sandy Springs, 5600 Roswell Rd.

You had us at “Cask Ale Tasting,” but this deliciously decadent sampling of suds really steals our heart- it’s a benefit for the Atlanta Humane Society. That’s right, not only are we tasting our way through about 50 rare, cask-conditioned ales from the USA and UK, and taking home a Monday Night Brewing souvenir glass, we're doing a solid for the animals around Metro Atlanta.

Wunderkindred II
Mammal Gallery, Downtown, 91 Broad St.

We’ve always thought of Athens as our little sister city, and we’re so proud of our sibling’s art work, we're hanging it on the figurative refrigerator. No really, the arts scene in Athens is top-notch, and Wunderkindred II brings all that goodness to Atlanta- the fanciful fridge art is actually on display at Mammal Gallery for one night only, along with the finest in musical accompaniment coming out of Athens right now.
